FinTech Atlanta is working with the University System of Georgia and other colleges and universities in Georgia to create FinTech degree and certificate programs to ensure Georgia has the needed talent to fuel its FinTech community.
To meet the demands of Georgia's growing FinTech industry, Middle Georgia State University has created the Associate of Science in Financial Technology. A partnership with eMajor and University System of Georgia, Middle Georgia State University offers an Associate of Science in Financial Technology (FinTech). The program's curriculum has been developed with direct input from industry leaders, ensuring that graduates of this degree are well equipped with the skills needed to work in this high-demand career field.
The 5-course undergraduate certificate program is an excellent option for someone who already holds a degree in a related field, such as computer science or information technology, and wants to add a specialization in FinTech. Accelerated 8-week courses offered in a flexible online format allow the certificate to be completed in a short amount of time, giving students a quicker route to the credential they need to break into the exciting FinTech industry in Georgia.
Atlanta is home to 29 higher education institutions. This includes four research universities, with two that rank among the top 25 national public colleges and universities. As a higher education powerhouse, Georgia is poised to continue producing the skilled workforce needed to remain the global capital of financial technology.
